Welcome to the Telling Our Stories class!
I am teaching this class through the Mt. Airy Learning Tree.
I have been teaching for more than ten years — and am continually amazed at what my students come up with in the class. My philosophy is to create an atmosphere of encouragement and empowerment. Together, we can find our voices and affirm our stories.
“I have taken two writing classes with Janet Mason and both produced results. I had one essay published by the “Schuylkill Valley Journal” and two published by www.falling-apart.net. I found Janet’s ability to engage the class in critiques of our work to be most profitable. Her insight into how to improve my work made me a better writer.” — Tranda Fishellis
This class is more amazing than ever. After our first class together — talking about our writing, our lives, our publishing plans, and doing in-class writing exercises, I am looking forward to reading more.
Annabelle is on a journey of self discovery. The view is amazing!
Stay tuned to this page and I will bring you the students’ works along with links to their blogs.
Barbara is writing about her family history. She is going places.
Together, we are becoming stronger in telling our stories!
