Janet Mason, author and teacher, Telling Our Stories, writing classes in Philadelphia

I am teaching Telling Our Stories, a writing class in Philadelphia.

“I have been teaching for more than ten years — and am continually amazed at what my students come up with in the class.  My philosophy is to create an atmosphere of encouragement and empowerment.  Together, we can find our voices and affirm our stories.”  — Janet Mason

“I have taken two writing classes with Janet Mason and both produced results.  I had one essay published by the “Schuylkill Valley Journal” and two published by www.falling-apart.net.  I found Janet’s ability to engage the class in critiques of our work to be most profitable.  Her insight into how to improve my work made me a better writer.” — Tranda Fishellis
